Martin Luther said: “The hair is the richest ornament of women”. Now, that may be true, but the hairpieces from LS Couture spotted on FaceBook, are exquisite ornaments perfectly designed for bejeweling that proud, rich mane.
Decorated with massive bows, peacock feathers, sequins, lace, satin, organza and studs, these vintage hair delights, reminiscent of the 1920’s, provide any type of gal with a chic, over-embellished look and are so feminine and interesting that they can complete any simple outfit. Which is reason enough for its trendiness to catch on. Not to mention the trend potential of adopting styles from the last century. After reviewing my all time favorite Strumpet & Pink Couture lingerie, it seems that 1920’s retro fashion concepts are sprouting up in all corners of the fashion industry and on the streets. Perhaps because after the 80’s and 90’s fashions we’ve started missing those days of classically dazzling ensembles, rich accessories and outrageous fashion luxuries that only women can enjoy. And honestly dahling, they were smashing. Absolutely smashing.
