Responsible Design: The Package Is The Product

A package that is in fact the product sheds new light on the creation of eco products. Usually, a product’s packaging is not part of the actual item and is tossed away once it’s unwrapped or unpacked. Not anymore. The Light2Go product designed by the Knoend Team completely alters the way we view packaging and eliminates packaging waste. This intelligently arranged lighting set has all its contents stored in a neat little package, which actually turns into the lighting structure itself. By utilizing all of the product’s parts, this provides an excellent approach to solving the problem of wasteful packaging. Hopefully all items currently being manufactured will take on this metamorphosis; eco-friendly products will not only save materials and the environment, but so will their packaging.
