I’m always into making the best out of ‘globalization and its discontents’ and this trend really helps to promote this idea. So, you wear these ‘ask me!’ badges around your melting pot urban metropolis and hopefully people who feel compelled will ask you about something cultural-your head covering or your heritage or traditional foods. This way, it opens up a peaceful dialogue that can break barriers of ignorance and prejudice. And what’s not trendy about that?
