Apparently major fashion designers are running out of ideas. Well, maybe not exactly, but the latest scoop is that Prada hired world renowned painter James Jean to design fabrics and their store in Soho. Other celebrated artists have announced their interest in teaming up with the fashion industry where they can put their illustrations on clothing, bags, fabrics and walls.

This brings on a new trend- illustrators who’d love to put their works on designer brands and fashion scouters seeking them out for fresh and original materials. Imagine Picasso drawing on Versace’s clutches. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
