Zebra crossing memorial

An effective way to raise awareness about auto-pedestrian accidents, these artists based in Portugal wrote names of people who died in auto accidents to create zebra crossings (crosswalks, as Americans would say..). A powerful and unique way to bring that message across to the masses on a large scale, I wouldn’t be surprised if this trend catches on to more cities in the near future.
